Alexandra is an outstanding leader and investor, with over 25 years of experience across investments, global financial markets and commercial law. Alexandra has a proven record in driving investment performance while managing risk, enhancing the capabilities of her team and innovating to secure superior risk-adjusted returns. Deeply experienced in private markets, Alexandra has originated and managed investments across a range of structures, sectors and geographies, including through long-term partnerships with preferred managers, platforms, co-investment and direct investments. Passionate about infrastructure, Alexandra has been at the forefront of transforming the role of this asset class in diversified portfolios, while continually seeking new opportunities that both enhance communities and generate strong returns on investment. From this, Alexandra developed broader expertise across private markets and diversified portfolios, holding roles including as deputy chief financial officer for a leading Australian superannuation fund. Alexandra holds a Masters in Applied Finance, Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and is a Registered Practising Solicitor.

As CEO, Alexandra applies this wealth of experience to achieve the investment objectives of the Big Blue Ocean Investments. While focused on the investment function, Alexandra also supports the Big Blue Ocean Foundation and its investments, allowing the Foundation to focus on its mission to protect and preserve the environment.
